Chandu Nair

Chandu, a member of The Chennai Angels, possesses over three decades of diverse experience spanning industry, consultancy, media, and information services. He is a cofounder of Scope eKnowledge Center, a trailblazing knowledge process outsourcing company that expanded to over 1000 employees before he departed. His primary responsibilities included driving business growth and securing funding. He is deeply passionate about fostering enterprise development and transformation. Chandu boasts handson involvement with angel investing, venture capital, and strategic investor funding. He has also been part of two successful business exits. Despite this, he was also engaged in establishing other businesses, many of which saw modest success or didn't flourish. Presently, he concentrates on entrepreneurship and enhancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem. He provides guidance to entrepreneurs and businesses in establishing and nurturing their ventures. Chandu has made investments in several startups, although the outcomes are yet to be determined. He contributes to the advisory board of a private equity firm based in Chennai. He is an enthusiastic charter member of TiE Chennai and has actively participated in its mentoring initiatives. Holding a postgraduate degree in Management from IIM Ahmedabad, he has contributed to various industry discussions both nationally and internationally and has served as a visiting faculty member at various business schools.
