Ankit Mehrotra

Ankit Mehrotra is the CEO and Cofounder of Dineout, a venture he initiated in early 2012. Through a series of acquisitions spanning eight years, he expanded Dineout's range to encompass both consumer and businessfocused services. His adept leadership has positioned Dineout as India's foremost platform for dining out and restaurant technology. Ankit's accomplishments have earned him numerous accolades, including the Education UK Alumni Award in 2016 and the title of Entrepreneur of the Year in 2017 from the British Council. He was also recognized as the Digital Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2019 Drivers of Digital Awards and was featured among the Top 50 Most Influential eCommerce Professionals by the eCommerce Summit & Awards in the same year. Before embarking on his journey with Dineout, Ankit spent a decade in London, during which he dedicated seven years to various roles at BNP Paribas, including Investment Banking and Wealth Management. While working in these capacities, he managed a portfolio of Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI) and concurrently pursued the CFA charter, successfully obtaining it in 2011. Ankit's passion for startups and technology fuels his curiosity for understanding online customer behavior across web and mobile platforms. His areas of expertise encompass Ecommerce Strategy, startup expansion strategies, deciphering and interpreting digital customer actions, introducing new product lines, and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships across networks.
